Tuesday night, we joined our friends Practically Green for their wild and crazy twitter party. Well, it wasn’t so wild and crazy as it was fun and highly informative! The discussion was rich and packed with tips we can all apply when living an earth-conscious lifestyle. Other sponsors included Weleda skin products and Applegate Farms. The party kicked off with informational tweets about each sponsor, which gave Mythic awesome brand exposure. Special ‘guests’ gave great input, which really got the buzz going.
The guests included:
Laurie David and her group from The Family Dinner, @famdinner
Lauren Guite, Environmental Defense Fund’s Moms Clean Air Force, @MomsCAF
Holistic Moms Network Nancy Massotto, Founder @HolisticMomsNet
Franke James, author of Bothered by my Green Conscience
Adria Saracino, eLocal, a national network of local resources for homeowners: @elocalusa
Blogger Lynn Stone of SmilingGreenMom, @smilinggreenmom
Toronto Star home columnist Vicky Sanderson @vickysanderson
Sheila Hollender, Seventh Generation environmental health advocate @LetsTalkPeriod
Alexandra Zissu, Editorial Director, Practically Green (and author, most recently of Planet Home and The Butcher’s Guide to Well-Raised Meat
The ‘party’ officially started at 9pm but there was already a buzz from as early as 8:15pm and went past the end point (10pm) to almost midnight. There was a series of six questions and each sponsor answered two each. We were luck to answer last which kept Mythic fresh in all the tweets for the duration of the party. Sweet huh?
When the next twitter party comes around, we’ll make sure to inform those of you with twitter accounts so you can join in on the conversation!
